A delightful mixture of fresh fruit and juices.

Fruit is cholesterol free. Melon is high in vitamin A. Citrus juice adds a healthy shot of vitamin C.

1 cantaloupe melon, halved and seeded
1/2 honeydew melon, seeded
1/4 cup superfine or granulated sugar
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 T fresh lemon juice
1 T orange-flavored liqueur (optional)
1 1/2 tsp grated lime peel
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup black or red seedless grapes

For variation, substitute kiwi slices, pineapple chunks, papaya slices, or mango cubes for some of the melon balls. Add a little ground ginger. We use a dash of coconut extract-Yum!

Using a melon baller, form cantaloupe and honeydew into balls. Set aside.
Use a glass or ceramic bowl to combine the sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, orange liqueur, and lime peel. Stir well to dissolve sugar. Add the melon balls, strawberries and grapes. Toss gently to combine.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour to blend the flavors. Stir a couple of times.
Spoon into individual serving bowls and serve immediately.

Another fruit to concider is pineapple.
