Ribs on the stove-quick, easy and delicious.

Short Ribs Delight

3 pounds meat (for 6 servings)
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil (or vegetable oil)
1/4 C ketsup
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 T sugar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 C brown sugar
1 1/2 T vinegar or lemon juice
1 1/2 T wine (optional)
3 T shoyu
1 1/2 T Worchestershire sauce

Season meat with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large sauce pan or

dutch oven. Brown meat well. Drain excess oil.

Mix remaining ingredients and pour over browned meat. Cover, bring

to boil and simmer until tender (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours). Stir

occasionally.

6 Servings.
